Azopt 1% Ophthalmic Suspension contains Brinzolamide  a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. By reducing the production of fluid inside the eye, Azopt helps prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss associated with high eye pressure.
