How It Works:

Prevenar 13 stimulates the body’s immune system to produce antibodies against 13 strains of pneumococcal bacteria, providing protection against serious bacterial infections.

Dosage:

• Administered as an intramuscular injection

• Infants and children: Usually a 2- or 3-dose series depending on age, with a booster at 12–15 months

• Adults at risk: Single dose as advised by the doctor

Common Side Effects:

Pain, redness, or swelling at injection site, mild fever, irritability, fatigue.

Drug Interactions:
