Use:

Used to prevent organ rejection in patients who have undergone kidney, liver, or heart transplants. It is also used in certain autoimmune diseases as prescribed by a doctor.

How It Works:

Cellcept contains Mycophenolate Mofetil, which suppresses the immune system by reducing the activity of white blood cells that can attack a transplanted organ, helping the body accept the new organ.

Dosage:

  • Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor

  • Usually taken twice daily with or without food

  • Do not crush or chew the tablet

  • Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice

Common Side Effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, weakness, headache, or increased risk of infections. Contact your doctor if severe symptoms occur.

Drug Interactions:

May interact with antacids, certain antibiotics, other immunosuppressants, and live vaccines. Inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking.

Do Not Use If:

  • Allergic to Mycophenolate Mofetil or any ingredient of the tablet

  • Pregnant or planning pregnancy (can cause birth defects)

  • Breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from moisture and keep out of reach of children.
